Listener Terms, summarised
A listener is what the app calls a host. You choose when you are available, and you earn a share of the coins people spend on calls with you.
Listening and being paid for it are separate: to request a payout you also need to clear 1 hour of calls that month with more than one person, pass KYC, and have no conduct suspensions.
Withdraw once your balance passes ₹50, and withdraw within 365 days of earning — balances left longer than that may be forfeited.
You are independent, not employed. You can decline any call, end any call, and block anyone. We may monitor, review or record calls where safety, quality or the law requires it — not routinely, and any recording is deleted within 90 days.
These Listener Terms govern your participation as a listener on phizley, operated by Phizley Technologies Private Limited, registered at TODO — Registered office address line 1, TODO — Address line 2, TODO — City, TODO — State TODO — PIN, India.
It starts the moment you agree or first go available as a listener, and runs until either of us ends it.
The service you provide is your time and attention on live calls. Concretely, that means:

A listener is the person who receives paid calls. The app calls the same role a host, and you switch it on in Settings — listener and host mean one thing. Wherever this page says listener, that is what it means.
You agree to these Terms when you tap "I agree" or first make yourself available as a listener, whichever happens first. If you do not agree with them, do not switch listening on.
These Terms sit alongside our Terms of Service, End User Licence Agreement, Community Guidelines and Privacy Policy. Where this page is silent, those apply. Where it conflicts with them on an earning matter, this page wins.
The service you provide is your time and attention on live calls. Concretely, that means:
Being a listener and being paid as a listener are two different things. Anyone who meets the age and verification requirements can listen. To request a payout, you also need to meet the eligibility criteria below in the relevant calendar month.
When someone spends coins on a call with you, you earn a share of what they actually spent, converted to money at the earnings rate published in the app. Per-call charges, tips and other paid interactions all count.
The rate, the deductions that apply (platform fee, payment gateway charges, taxes) and the calculation are shown in the app and may change. We will tell you before a change takes effect. Continuing to listen afterwards means you accept the new rate; it never applies backwards to earnings you have already accrued.
Earnings are meant to come from real conversations with real people. Creating extra accounts, generating calls between accounts you control or coordinate with, self-tipping, or exploiting a bug in the wallet are all ways of taking money that no user actually spent.
Earnings produced that way are forfeited, and the accounts involved are closed. If you find a bug that produces money, report it — reporting it costs you nothing and using it costs you the account.
Our Community Guidelines apply to you in full. These are the parts that come up most often for listeners:
You are never required to do anything you are not comfortable with. No rate, no tip and no amount of coins changes that, and nobody at phizley will ever ask you to put up with something to protect your standing.
End the call, block the person, report them. Ending a call early never counts against you and never costs you your standing.
For anything urgent, write to safety@phizley.com. For anything involving a minor, write to support@phizley.com — those are the highest priority and are actioned ahead of everything else. If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first: we can act on an account, but we cannot send help.
We act on reports, and on text our filter catches before it is sent — messages, captions, comments, display names and bios are all checked before they are saved.
We may also monitor, review or record live calls where that is necessary for safety, quality or legal compliance. This is not routine and most calls are never recorded, but you are a party to those calls and you should know it can happen.
Where a recording is made it is kept for up to 90 days and then deleted. Only the staff investigating the matter that prompted it can open it, and every access is logged. Our Privacy Policy sets out the detail.
Report problems while they are fresh either way — a recording only exists if something already prompted one.
We may suspend, restrict or remove your listener access if we believe you have breached these Terms, our guidelines or the law, or where we need to for safety or legal reasons. For anything involving a minor, we act immediately and without notice.
If you think we got it wrong, write to our Grievance Officer at grievance@phizley.com. We acknowledge within 24 hours and decide within 15 days, and an appeal is reviewed by someone other than whoever made the original decision. If we were wrong, we restore your account and release any earnings we were holding.
We are not able to compensate you for calls you would otherwise have taken during a suspension. Where a suspension turns out to have been our mistake, we will say so and put the account back as it was.
We will do this rarely and never silently — you will be told what is being held and why, and you can appeal it. It happens where:
If someone brings a claim against Phizley Technologies Private Limited because of something you did, you cover us for it — including reasonable legal costs. That covers breaches of these Terms, content or conduct on your calls that harms someone or infringes their rights, breaking the law, and regulatory action arising from what you did.
This continues to apply after you stop listening.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — lost earnings, lost opportunities, lost data or goodwill.
Where we are liable, our total liability for any claim is capped at the earnings we paid you in the 3 months before whatever gave rise to it.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at TODO — City have exclusive jurisdiction — subject to any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
Before starting proceedings, please write to grievance@phizley.com so we can try to sort it out.
